Medical Practice Data, HIPAA, And HITECH

As a service provider to medical practice customers, the Company may collect and analyze data related to those customers on their behalf. In that role, the Company processes data upon instruction from the customer, consistent with applicable service agreements and Business Associate Agreements.

Some Personal Data received by the Company in connection with the Services may be provided by health care providers subject to laws and regulations, including rules issued under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act of 2009 (HITECH), that govern use and disclosure of certain individually identifiable health-related Personal Data, or Protected Health Information.

When We receive Protected Health Information, We may do so as a Business Associate of Our health care provider customers under agreements that prohibit Us from using or disclosing Protected Health Information in ways that are not permissible for the health care provider itself and require Us to implement safeguards for confidentiality, integrity, and availability of that information.

Retention And Transfer

The Company will retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Personal Data as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce legal agreements and policies.

Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when used to strengthen security, improve functionality, or when We are legally obligated to retain it longer.

Your information may be processed at the Company's operating offices and in other places where parties involved in the processing are located. This means information may be transferred to computers outside Your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ.

ICQC maintains SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance programs, implements security practices and monitoring procedures, and uses encryption protocols to safeguard data during storage and transmission.

The Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us.
